Veterinary Surgical Centers (VSC) was featured as a Virginia Business Spotlight by the office of the Governor of Virginia, Terry McAuliffe, who recognized VSC not only as best in the state, but best in the country.
In a short video posted to the office’s official Facebook page and website, Governor McAuliffe praised VSC’s 13-year history of caring for the pets and families of Northern Virginia, and cheered its advanced offerings, from total hip replacements to cleft palate surgery, and more. Founded in 2004 by Dr. Anke Langenbach as a mobile surgery service, VSC has grown into the leading comprehensive surgical, rehabilitation, and pain management practice in the region, boasting a world-class team of board-certified surgeons, certified rehabilitation specialists, and a highly specialized staff.
“A pet is a part of your family,” said the Governor, “and if something happens, you want to make sure they the get the best care they can, and Veterinary Surgical Centers is the best in Virginia. And, I’ll say this, the best in the United States of America.” A longtime pet owner, he added that if his Yellow Lab, Guinness—who had a sort-of cameo in the video—were to need any surgical or rehabilitative care, “We are going to Veterinary Surgical Centers.”
