Veterinary Surgical Centers is proud to welcome Dr. Brian Sutherland as a new surgeon at our Leesburg practice in The LifeCentre in August 2015.
A native of Greensboro, Dr. Sutherland received his Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University Veterinary Medicine in Raleigh. He completed a one-year small animal rotating internship at Michigan State University, followed by a surgery internship at the Dallas Veterinary Surgical Center. This summer, he will complete his three-year surgical residency at the University of Wisconsin-Madison. An avid Crossfitter and outdoor enthusiast, Sutherland's clinical areas of interest are minimally invasive surgery (arthroscopy, laparoscopy, and thoracoscopy) and reconstructive surgery.
