We are pleased to announce that, upon completion of this three-year surgical residency this week, Dr. Justin Ganjei will be officially joining the VSC Surgical Team. Dr. Ganjei has worked hard over the past few years, learning the best techniques and approaches for surgeries and patient care and assisting our board-certified surgeons in a variety of procedures. He also has spoken at various local CE events, including Facets and The Veterinary Forum.
Dr. Ganjei will begin seeing patients for consults and surgery in our Vienna clinic at Hope Advanced Veterinary Center, Wednesdays through Saturdays, starting on Monday, July 25.
This fall, he will go out for his 12-week study break to prepare to sit for the American College of Veterinary Surgeons (ACVS) Certification Examination in February 2017. After which, we are hoping he will return to us a board-certified surgeon!

We believe the best surgical care is delivered by a board-certified surgeon - an Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine, who has completed a one-year surgical internship and three-year surgical residency, and passed the ACVS Certification Examination to achieve Diplomate status as a Board-Certified Small Animal Surgeon.
